Grants manager
Michelle Estes
Two touchstones that have been constants in Michelle's life are writing and psychology. As a grant writer for almost 10 years, she has raised funds for non-profit agencies and universities and has worked as a writing tutor and editor. Her grant writing experience includes securing funds from private and corporate foundations, as well as governmental agencies. She is adept at translating client’s creative thoughts, ideas, and plans into first drafts and well-composed final products. Her goal is to ensure that grant submissions are compelling, original, and succinct. Additionally, Michelle has a doctoral degree in psychology, which has honed her ability to conduct scholarly research, writing, and editing. She is passionate about words: "Words are how we communicate, understand, work, think, express feelings, and make decisions. I love playing with words and using words to connect with people so that they feel heard, understood, more reflective and more hopeful."
